Enjoy a one hour lunch break on Lake Rotorua, take in the sights of Sulphur Bay and Hinemoa’s Point on Lake Rotorua while enjoying a buffet lunch on New Zealand’s only stern wheel paddle driven boat. Along the way our skipper will also entertain you with his delightful commentary.

While gently cruising on Lake Rotorua, you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while taking in spectacular views of the city, mystical Mokoia Island, and other breathtaking Rotorua landmarks.

There is plenty of time to enjoy coffee or tea and some lovely sweet treats after your lunch before arriving back at the Lakefront. This really is an experience not to be missed!

Session Length

Guests are more than welcome to start boarding 15 minutes prior to there sailing time. The cruise duration is 1 hour. Cruises are generally held from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. Boarding at 12.50pm.

Guidelines:

The Lakeland Queen is wheelchair friendly however passengers are only able to access the upper deck from stairs.

Numbers:

The Lakeland Queen sails for small and large groups alike. You will always have the indepth and entertaining commentary from the Captain, as well as the wonderful service provided by all of our staff members who accompany the daily cruises on the Lakeland Queen.

Weather:

In the unlikely event that we would not be unable to cruise due to inclement weather we will continue the service dockside with all inclusions on board.
