This scenic cruise enables you and a friend to savour the delights of Lake Taupo. From the spacious decks, experience the crystal waters of the beautiful Lake, discover the Maori rock carvings, the spectacular mountains of the volcanic plateau whilst enjoying a full cooked breakfast!

Your scenic cruise begins at Taupo, where you will be able to see our catamaran berthed at the jetty. Upon your arrival our staff will guide you towards the jetty. You should be ready to board approximately 10 minutes prior to your departure time.

You will smell the fresh coffee brewing as you board and cruise to the Maori Rock Carvings. A DVD will be running which gives you a description of our other activities.

On board, you and a friend will be served a delicious breakfast, which includes fresh fruit platters, cooked breakfast, tea/coffee, croissants and toast. There is also a bar where you can purchase additional hot and cold drinks while you enjoy fabulous 360 degree views of secluded bays and the spectacular snow covered mountains.

Your scenic cruise includes a full and interesting commentary on local and Maori history and information on the trout fishery.

This experience is available on Sunday, departing at 10.30am and returning at 12.30pm. Summer weekends and holidays are very busy so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Spectators:

Friends or family are welcome to watch your departure and arrival from the jetty.

We operate in most weather conditions. In extreme weather, this experience may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
