Fishing in Auckland Harbour is perfect for the casual angler. During the trip you'll experience the beauty of Waitemata Harbour in Auckland whilst casting your bait to snapper, kahawai, trevally, John Dory and many more. This charter is highly recommended by NZ's Fishing News magazine!

Your fishing charter adventure begins at Westhaven Marina, which is located right in the heart of downtown Auckland city. Our fishing guide will welcome you aboard MV Stingray, our fast, fully equipped 30ft sports fishing vessel.

Experience a fantastic scenic view of Auckland city as you blast out into the Waitemata Harbour. Our experienced fishing guide will assess wind, tide and fish movement, and if required give you personal attention and tuition to improve your chances of hooking the 'big one'. Any of the fish you catch can be put on ice so they stay in pristine eating condition for after your fishing trip.

Whilst on the boat, tea and coffee is complementary and quality Shimano tackle and bait are available. You are welcome to supply your own lunch, soft drink and alcohol on the day of your fishing trip.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

This experience fishes the Auckland (i.e. Waitemata) Harbour.

Session Length

This experience is 6 hours in duration from 8am to 2pm. All bookings are subject to availability. We recommend that you book at least four weeks in advance.

Guidelines:

Suitable for anglers of any experience level. Not suitable for children under 12.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There may be up to six other anglers on board.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

All trips are weather dependent. You MUST confirm your booking by phone 24 hours prior to departure.

Other Info:

Good quality fishing rods are available for hire at $20 per set and bait is available for $20 per person (this is payable directly to the supplier on the day). Otherwise you can bring your own.

    Excellent days fishing. Skipper obviously knew what to look for and where, and, as a result all of us on the boat were well able to feed our families, with our catch. Would recommend the experience to all. Thank you
