We will deliver your Segway Human Transporter (HT) to a park in Hamilton for a three hour experience, guaranteed to give you the time of your life! Your experience will include 15 minutes tuition on how to ride a Segway HT. Rest assured that absolutely anyone who can stand, walk and step up 200mm unassisted can learn to ride a Segway HT!

A Segway HT doesn't have gears, an accelerator or brakes. To move forward, just lean forward - the more you lean the faster you go! To slow down and stop, straighten up again. To reverse, just lean back gently. It's like magic - an experience like you've never felt before! Turning is controlled by twisting the left wrist grip - easy!

Most people can be riding a Segway HT within 30 seconds, and have it feeling like a natural extension of their body within minutes. By then you'll have such a big smile on your face you won't want to get off! Easy to ride, self-balancing Segway HTs are the hi-tech way of the future.

Session Length

Training and familiarisation takes about 15 minutes. This experience is up to 3 hours in duration and is limited only by battery life (dependant on distance travelled, type of terrain and the weight of the rider). Please book at least 10 days in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.

Guidelines:

You must weigh between 40kg and 130kg to ride a Segway HT.

Weather:

This experience is best taken on a fine, sunny day. Segway Experiences are not offered on days of steady rain. In the case of poor weather, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.
