Imagine trekking through the beautiful Rangitikei hill country on horseback, while the sun slowly sets and night falls. Combine this with nibbles, bubbles, and a small group of riders and you have the makings for an absolutely perfect afternoon.

Riding Boots
Helmet
Leather Chaps and Long Oilskin Riding Coats for changeable weather

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

The experience is located a 30 minute drive east of Taihape off State Highway One, in the Central North Island, New Zealand.

Session Length

The trek takes up to 3 Hours in total including a break for bubbles, crackers and cheese. The experience is available 7 days a week between the 1st November and the 31st March.

Guidelines:

Previous riding experience is not necessary, suitable for all levels of riding ability.

Numbers:

Each Trek will have 1 Guide and can take up to a maximum of 7 Participants. Numbers do vary.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to see the participants saddle up but will not be able to observe for the entire ride.

Weather:

This experience is affected by the weather. If it is raining Oilskin Coats are provided. If it is too windy, the Trek may not go ahead. Participants will then be rescheduled.
