Tour the wildlife of Dunedin and see the whole area in a new light! Cruise down Otago Harbour to Taiaroa Head where you'll see seals, albatross, and a lot more. This award-winning tour then cruises back to town and departs by bus to Penguin Place. Take in 90 mins there and see the Otago landscape!

This experience shows you the best of the Otago Peninsula and its wildlife.

Cruise the length of the beautiful Otago Harbour, passing the the historic fishing village of Carey's Bay and the working port of Port Chalmers. Cruise around Taiaroa Head for unrivalled viewing of albatross,seals and other marine mammals and up to 20 species of ocean birds.

Take a guided land tour of the Yellow-Eyed Penguin Reserve, also known as 'Penguin Place'. See the rare and endangered species of penguin, only found on the south east coast of New Zealand.

With spectacular scenery of the Otago Peninsula the whole way, you'll have a wonderful time on this half day experience!

This experience departs Dunedin, travelling by boat to Taiaroa Head and by bus to Penguin Place.

Session Length

This experience is available 364 days a week, twice daily at either 9am or 1.30pm. The experience is 5.5 hours, including 3 hours on the boat and 1.5 hours at penguin place.
