Enjoy seven hours of wine, beer, spirits and exceptional food in and around Tauranga. Visit award-winning wineries and relax in air-conditioned comfort as you watch the countryside go by. Relish the quality of our locally made wines. A great way to spend a day!

Our tasting tour is a day filled full of local epicurean delights and involves seven hours of wine, beer, spirits and food. This is the perfect day for anyone with a passion for sampling quality food and wines.

To start your tour, we will collect you from your accommodation in the local area. We start with a tour of a boutique brewery, followed by beer tasting and nibbles.

Next, we visit Morton Estate for a full wine presentation and tasting. Our third stop is at Mills Reef where we stop for lunch (at your own expense), a winery operation presentation and tasting. We finish the tour with cocktails and dessert, enjoying the ambience of The Strand in central Tauranga.

At the conclusion of the tour we will return you to your accommodation in Tauranga / Mount Maunganui or Papamoa areas.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

Our tours operate all year round. The tour is approximately seven hours in duration and starts at 10.15am. Bookings must be made at least one day prior as we are required to make reservations at the venues.

Guidelines:

Due to liquor regulations, you must be aged 18 years or older to participate in the tour. A stop for lunch is included but lunch itself is not included in this experience.

Numbers:

We operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 25 people per tour.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

We operate in all weather conditions - whether wet, cold or dry, this will not prevent you from having a great day!

    The tour guide Paul was fantastic. His knowledge of the wine industry and the wineries was impressive and know that my knowledge has increased as a direct result. The tour was a wonderful day out and will always be remembered fondly. I highly recommend Tauranga Wine and Tasting tours.
