When you arrive at the lodge you will be given a warm welcome and a tour of the facilities. You will then enjoy a delicious home-baked afternoon tea while you settle in. You might choose to spend your afternoon walking up Rocky Mountain (from where you get spectacular views of the lake), browsing the galleries and boutiques in town, or relaxing in front of the fire in the cosy guest lounge.

In the evenings, enjoy a complimentary aperitif before heading into town for dinner. There are many fantastic restaurants to choose from in Wanaka and the lodge offers courtesy transfers into town so that you can enjoy a bottle of wine with your meal.

You will be spending two nights in the deluxe room, which is adorned with stylish natural colours, timber furnishings and a sumptuous super king bed with fine imported linens. French doors open onto a verandah with panoramic mountain views. Here you can sit with a bottle of bubbly while the sun sets behind the Southern Alps. Your ensuite bathroom has a walk-in tiled power shower with heated tile floors and a candle-lit double spa, fluffy bathrobes and towels and complimentary Linden Leaves aromatherapy bath products.

In the morning you will be served a breakfast of homemade muesli, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fresh breads, preserves and a cooked option that changes daily. Served in the guest dining room or taken out to your private verandah, breakfast is a delicious and healthy meal that will leave you ready to start the day!

During the day you are free to explore the paradise of Wanaka and surrounds, go on an adventure or just catch up on sleep and enjoy a quiet day in the sun. There are a multitude of adventure activities available in the area and our staff are happy make recommendations and assist with bookings.

Included are two complimentary one-hour massages (therapeutic or deep tissue) which can be enjoyed in the privacy of the lodge.
