Experience the spectacular views from your scenic helicopter flight as you and 3 friends enjoy the stunning scenery. Fly over the Abel Tasman National Park and land for a refreshment break at Awaroa Lodge. Afterwards, reboard the helicopter for the magnificent flight back to Nelson!

On arrival at our helicopter base, you and your friends will meet your pilot and if time permits be offered a tea or coffee.

Your pilot will discuss your flight with you and your guests, we'll show you the helicopter and give you a safety briefing. Once everyone has been briefed, you'll board the helicopter and get ready for take-off!

The forest and abundant orchards and vineyards of the Waimea Plains spread into the foothills and mountains of the Abel Tasman National Park and Kahurangi National Park. Your flight time allows us to travel as far as the remote and beautiful Awaroa Lodge set on the edge of the Abel Tasman Walking Track. Landing here and enjoying the natural quiet, enjoy the sea lapping on the beach or stop for lunch or coffee at the restaurant. After a couple of hours here, you and your friends will reboard the helicopter for the stunning flight back to Nelson.

Upon landing, your pilot will ask you to wait in the helicopter until our friendly ground crew can help you out of the helicopter and back into the hanger.

At the end of your scenic flight, you and your friends are welcome to have a chat and ask any questions about the flight or the helicopter.

This experience is available daily, weather permitting. Please book a few days in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. Please allow up to 3 hours for this experience. Flight time is 20 minutes each way in the helicopter.
