Our driver training programs have been specifically designed to enhance and improve driver safety. You will be instructed by our professionally qualified driving instructors and they will show you 'death-defying' feats… before you ever need to use them in a real-life driving situation!

Holding a driver's licence only means that you are 'legally entitled' to drive... it doesn't mean that you are any good at it. During this driving course, emphasis is in developing useful and practical skills and in improving the driver's knowledge, skill and attitude in the operation of their vehicles.

Driving is a lifelong endeavour and getting a licence is just the first step in a very long road. To become and remain a safe and efficient driver, you need to continually upgrade your knowledge base and practical abilities in order to consistently and safely operate what can otherwise become a very expensive lethal weapon, in the wrong hands.

Our courses are specifically designed to make you better prepared to make good safe driving decisions with improved driver reactions, smoothness and fuel efficiency. After completing our training, you will be able to competently and confidently operate your vehicle in a much more efficient and safe manner to avoid, prevent or better deal with any situation which may arise.

• Tyres and vehicle condition
• Vehicle manoeuvring skills development
• Vehicle dynamics and handling characteristics
• Basic car control
• Advanced ABS braking techniques
• Conventional braking techniques
• Practical accident avoidance / collision prevention techniques
• Defensive and safe driving techniques
• Advanced safe cornering techniques
• Positive reinforcement of safe driver attitudes

Practical in car demonstrations of all exercises are provided by our qualified, professional instructors and there are assorted 'one on one' in car instruction and tuition in your own vehicle throughout the day.

Please Note: You will be required to use your own vehicle on the day.

Venue:

We operate from a number of areas within NZ including: * Pukekohe, Auckland * Manfield, Wellington / Manawatu * Ruapuna, Christchurch * Teretonga, Invercargill * Timaru & Taupo - subject to minimum numbers.

Session Length

Your day starts at 8.45am and concludes at 4.30pm. Please book at least a month in advance. The driver training course is available on selected dates throughout the year.

Guidelines:

You will be using your own vehicle for this experience. You must hold a valid driver's licence (learners licence is accepted). Insurance is not be a problem as you are participating in a driving course.

Numbers:

We operate with a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 24 people in the course on the day.

Weather:

This experience operates in all weather conditions.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to the experience. Only our advanced driving instructors are repeatedly inside your vehicle at various stages throughout the day for true 'one on one' instruction.
